Eat Your Veggies

Claire has turned out to be quite the little eater.  Nothing has fazed her: peas, carrots, green beans and prunes plums.  She surely didn't get that from me. 


Reid's mealtimes have become a great practice in power negotiation. 

Recent offers include:
"If you eat two bites of oranges, you can have a chip..."
"If you eat your chicken, you can have a popsicle..."
"If you eat your banana, you can have more granola bar..."

I'm not sure we're off to a good start, but I'm fairly confident that I'm not the only one who has similar mealtime struggles.  Unfortunately, none of the existing offers are appealing enough to make him even accept having a vegetable on his plate.  Good thing there are few redeeming ingredients for oatmeal raisin cookies.  And Rice Krispies treats.
